Veterans For Peace is a national organization founded in 1985. It is comprised of members across the country organized in chapters or as at-large members. There is an annual convention each year attended by our members, families and supporters from across the nation. Members receive periodic VFP publications.
The organization includes men and women veterans of all eras and duty stations. Our collective experience tells us other means of problem solving are necessary.
We draw on our personal experiences and perspectives gained as veterans to raise public awareness of the true costs and consequences of militarism and war - and to seek peaceful, effective alternatives.
Veterans For Peace is an official Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) represented at the UN.
The Gulf War Veteran Resource Page has been an Internet resource since early 1994. Our Mission is to aid Gulf War veterans in their pursuit for the truth. The site is run privately by volunteers and is not affiliated with any government entity.
Our Site provides information for United States Gulf War veterans looking for the Gulf War Registry, or on VA program initiatives for Gulf War Veterans.
Founded in 2005 by a Marine Corps combat veteran of Vietnam, Vets4Vets is a place for veterans of today's wars in Afghanistan and Iraq to use peer support to help each other through speaking and listening. Many of todays new veterans are
coming home with an overwhelming amount of emotional obstacles in readjusting to life after the hardships or horrors of war. We believe that these veterans have fought for and deserve the right to any and all support that can be afforded to them.

Veterans for Common Sense (VCS) was formed by war veterans who believe that the people of the United States are most secure when our country is responsibly engaged with the world. Our mission, based on the pragmatic ideals of the American patriot Thomas Paine, is to raise the unique and powerful voices of veterans so that our national security is protected.
Formed in the spring of 2006, the Democratic National Veterans and Military Families Council aims to further strengthen outreach to our troops and families who have given so much in defense of our country. The Council seeks proper training and equipment for our troops as they head to battle; a budget that reflects America's responsibilities to
our veterans by providing health care options and assistance to military families; support and assistance for veterans and their families when they return home and a continued support for the values and dignity that come with a military career.
