There are a number of places to register to vote and/or get absentee ballots. Voter Registration at the Columbia County Court House can best aid you. You can go to their website or you can call them at (570) 389-5640. You can also print out a absentee ballot form below.  The most extensive online voter information is available at votesPA.com.

Voting by absentee ballot is a two step process.  First you must apply for an Absentee ballot form.  This application must be received by the voter registrar at least 7 days before the election. (2011 cut off date is November 1)  Postmarks ARE NOT an indication of timely filing.

The ballot you receive must be received by the voter registrar at least 5 days before the election. (Cut off date for 2011 is November 4) Again postmarks ARE NOT an indication of timely filing.

Please not again postmarks ARE NOT an indication of timely filing. The application and/or ballot must be in the Registrar's Hand by Closing time of the Court House on the dates indicated.

YOU can download and printout the  absentee ballot application below.  This form will have the Registrar send you an absentee ballot.  Then you must send the absentee ballot back to the Voter Registrar. Send the completed application to the below address.
